@prattmic requested issue #71753 to be considered for backport to the next 1.24 minor release.

@gopherbot Please backport to 1.24. Test binaries trigger overly jumpy security scanners, such as one that makes the golang Docker image incorrectly state it is full of critical security vulnerabilities.
