[BUG]: Connecting AI Apps Sharepoint Data Storage to VertexAiSearchTool

Sharepoint Data Storage in AI Applications compatiblity with VertexAiSearchTool.

Description of issue

Hey guys,

I've connected through Data Storage a simple pdf as unstructured data using VertexAiSearchTool. However I have a sharepoint connected that I'd like to use too but it is a collection of 260ish files.

File type: Unstructured data (SharePoint Online)

Based on source code:

 data_store_id: The Vertex AI search data store resource ID in the format
        of
        "projects/{project}/locations/{location}/collections/{collection}/dataStores/{dataStore}".

It works as I mentioned above with a single file, but not w this sharepoint file.

Environment

e.g.

• OS & Architecture: macOS 15.7 (Apple Silicon)
• Python version: 3.13.3

Is it possible to connect that sharepoint file, if yes how?
