The objective is to provide the existing PSL (Pub/Sub Lite) customers a way to seamlessly migrate streaming data from PSL to GMK (Google Managed Kafka) using PSL’s client libraries. This design is based on the PSL’s Java client library, but its principles can be translated to all the other supported libraries. For migration, the customers will have to simply pass a few additional parameters to the settings of their publisher and subscriber clients, and then restart them. They can keep the rest of their client code intact.
