State of this repository?

I see there haven't been commits made in the main branch for the last 5 months, and I genuinely wanted to know whether this is somewhat temporary or the result of a deliberate decision to stop any work on it...
I fear for the latter, as it will be such a shame to lose this incredible capability and seamless integration into Github action workflows...

Seconding this. While the main repository itself has some traction, the action seems to be unmaintained (especially in regards to version updates). If this is something team is not capable of supporting right now, would you be open to add community maintainers to speed up the process? I would be willing to volounteer.
