I think I'd want a setting like this globally, but with an ability to over-ride it on individual books. Some books have a significant A, The, This, etc at the start, but mostly, I would want the words ignored for sorting. I have a book called #Selfcare that should sort in "S" for instance, and a "9 from the nine worlds" that I would like to sort under N. Without having to alter the display title. Though, maybe adding a "sort title" would be a good option, as I have seen in AV systems like Plex and Jellyfin. If there's no sort title, the title is used. |

I was just wondering if it would be a feasible feature request to ask for a setting to ignore leading articles when sorting by title alphabetically. I suppose an alternative would be to rename these books and move the articles to the end, preceded by a comma, but that seems like somewhat of a hassle.
