Titles with meta text are not updating as expected

Issue with Advanced Charts titles - when using Meta Text, the title isn't updating when the chart updates.

Under the Style > General settings, you can set meta text. I selected Project_Name (screenshot 2)
Then, under Title, added the text %{meta[1]} as it noted when setting meta text (screenshot 3)
When you select a project in Table1, the chart updates but the title does not (screenshot 1)
