Ability to see what user/token dispatches a job (either from UI or inside the job to be able to log it) #25180

Proposal

It would be nice to be able to see what user/token dispatches a parameterized job.

Use-cases

If a job fails, it's hard to track down who actually ran a job and let them know it's fixed.

Attempted Solutions

Haven't tried much except looking if there was any metadata available that i could get from inside the job, but unfortunately I haven't found any.

Hey @atillamas, thanks for the suggestion. It's a neat idea, and we already support something more extensive in Enterprise called audit. I suppose we'd have to discuss if this sort of enhancement wouldn't have too big of an overlap with that feature.

I'll put this on our board and mark for roadmapping.
