Awesome. I was working on EVCC.io integration of the batteries and one of the things I was missing was the number of batteries connected to properly divide the max charge and max discharge :) Maybe I can also use the "permissions" field to better control the battery behaviour when combined with EV charging... but sounds like a useful addition 👍 |

After installation the battery mode switched to manually charging while it was at standby. So it seems not to keep it's last state. |

Eerste poging te updaten mislukte. Versie veranderde niet... Tweede wel! |

When testing this with Postman, it works as expected. When switching from With regard to the documentation: it might be useful to recommend that you shouldn't just send a 'permissions' array, but also send a |

The beta was installed automatically somewhere last week. For now, it seems to work fine for my 15 min dynamic tariff linear optimization supervisory control. Note that due to the low spread over the 15 min tariffs last days the PiB remained most of the time standby on 0%, so I'm still waiting for a somewhat more significant spread to check whether the zero + discharging_allowed mode will be triggered and works as expected. Note in my supervisory control the battery will be charged by forcing the to_full mode when tariffs are sufficient low compared to higher tariffs later. Based on the dynamic tariffs of tomorrow (8/12/2025) a full automatic charge / discharge cycle can be expected tomorrow, I will provide an update when that occurred. For now, I spotted a minor inconsitency. When changing the battery to standby using {"mode":"zero","permissions":[]} the P1 meter returns {"mode":"standby","permissions":[], ..} which is correct but somewhat inconsistent with the documented preferred way for new applications. I would have expected the P1 meter to return {"mode":"zero","permissions":[], ..}. (software versions P1 meter 6.0302, PiB 1.0406) |

I observed a untriggered mode change, which could not have been triggered by my automation. Around 15:00 today the battery mode went untriggered from mode {"mode":"standby","permissions":[]} to mode {"mode":"zero","permissions":["charge_allowed","discharge_allowed"]}. This specific mode change does not exist in my automation, so should be trigered by something else. Exactly at the same time I observed in my EMS log that I could not read out the P1 meter (IP 192.168.1.191): Mon/2025-12-08/15:01:30+01 - ERROR Background: My EMS polls every 20 sec the P1 status. I now see my P1 meter is at 6.0303, where it was yesterday at 6.0302. Was a new beta pushed around 15:00 today? .. I guess the mode seems to be have reset to the default mode zero, and my EMS automation did not update it back to what it should be (an use case I did not expect so did not safeguard in my software). |

Hi everybody! We are rolling out 6.0303 to the beta today. We have patched an issue where the battery could switch to the wrong mode after installation. |

Via de App de update van 6.0302 naar 6.0303 gedaan. Kreeg een time out melding. Daarna terug zag ik een update knop. Toen ik die uitvoerde precies hetzelfde: time out. |

Still working as expected without untriggered mode changes. However, due to the low spread the PIB has not been very active over the last days. Last charge was on 10/12, last discharge was on 13/12. Now on 0% waiting for some low tariffs. (software versions P1 meter 6.0303, PiB 1.0406, #PIBs 1) |

Aanvulling op het vreemde gedrag van statussen. @RonvanderPlas De pib’s staan nog steeds in lokale api mode. Wifi ontvangst is goed. Ik gebruik geen permissies. |
