Hello, v8 has recently been stabilized, and bug fixes are releasing again. Progress for v9 can be observed here.

Right now, my focus is on migrating away from MDC-Web, since it's abandoned. It'll be a lot of work before v9 is ready, but it won't have any dependence on MDC-Web.

Sound really good! Though, I still has these. Attachment issues on all SMUI components. It seems like it is only in the IDE (VS Code) but would be nice to get rid of all error warnings.

For example:

Can you show me where that error is happening? Also what version of Svelte do you have installed?

The app builds it is just the IDE that is complaing like on this Textfield for example:

I can also confirm the same error above appearing in VSCode on most smui components in my current project. Running on svelte 5.36.16 and sveltejs/kit 2.26.0 .

Did you set input$emptyValueUndefined or is that how it is without even setting it?

That's very strange. I don't even know where this type is coming from. It's not defined in the Texfield or Input components. Does it still happen if you restart the Svelte language server?

Yes, it is coming back directly after restart. I have tried everything. Just create a new SMUI project then I think you should be able to repeat. Or can it be some combination with other packages?

I'm having the same issue, it started when I executed npm outdated that indicated SMUI components had new versions.
I updated all installed components from 8.0.0-beta.2 to ^8.0.1 and I'm getting the same messages.

I could provide more errors for FormField and Checkbox but, for example, Button has no issues. This started happening after the update, no code was changed whatsoever. I'll be glad to provide any necessary info! :)

I had the same issue but as described in #695 downgrading to a svelte version below 5.29 fixed it.
