I’d like to request support for an extension/plugin system in HTTPie Desktop.
Motivation
HTTPie is a great tool for simple workflows, but there’s a lot of potential for automation. I understand that implementing every feature request is time-consuming, so why not delegate some of that to the community?
For example, I often want to automate tasks before and after each request, such as:
- Automatically sending a request to my auth provider before each request.
- Building a chain of requests to simulate integration test flows (with captured headers and variables).
An extension system would make these use cases possible without adding extra burden to the core team.
