current date and time knowledge

Hey, first of all, I'm having lots of fun with smolagents 🤓, thanks !

I've started prefixing all my prompts with the current time and date because the agent often thinks we're in 2024, depending on the model. I understand why this happens, but I was wondering if anyone has found a better way to inform the agent of the current time. I've also tried using a "whattimeisit" tool with mixed results, as it isn't always used when needed.
