Include animal-mortality-type in measurement or facts #132

Description

@peterdesmet

Animal mortality information is useful, see inbo/bird-tracking#281.

I would try to include this in the Darwin Core mapping, as a measurement or fact. It is then a useful extra row in addition to sex and lifestage.

  • Figure out to which record to attach this information too. Ideally the one with the deployment-off-timestamp, but there is no guarantee there is a record for that. Unless we restructure to event-based or DwC-DP, this might not be solvable
  • Figure out if there is a NERC controlled vocabulary
  • Decide whether it is useful to also include animal-death-comments

Note

I don't think dwc:vitality is a good fit:

  • It only allows to express whether the organism was dead or alive, not how it died
  • Same problem as above: to which record do you attach this info
