I'll get to this as soon as I finish the update to the 3D vector field editor since the two share a lot of the same code/concepts. Same as with the vector field editor, it will only be a port to the new API version at first. There's a mod project that's taken up most of my time for a while now that I need to finish before focusing on any other major rewrites.

There are definitely some features I still want to add. The main ones I can think of would be tiling flowmaps and a way to use surface angles to direct flow (for downhill flowing, rapids, etc.). The interface probably needs an overhaul, too... When I created this, I just needed a few quick flowmaps, and ease of use wasn't really a priority :)

If there are any other features you'd like to see, let me know.

I messed with it for a while this weekend, but had some problems setting up the material to show vertex colors. There's another project I need to finish up, and I'll get back to this (and my normals editor) as soon as I can.
Edit: Blender 2.8 has changes to just about everything used in this addon... I'll probably have to start from scratch (not including logic).
