Container writing world data outside of container

I wanted to ask if it is possible to write the world data on a directory outside of the container so you dont have to sudo into it to change playerdata or something. I know you can clone an existing world directory into the container but I don't know it it is possible to clone it from the container into another directory

Yes. Use what's referred to as a "bind mount" to mount a host directory to the container's /data path
