Looking at the error log what stands out for me is:

but I have no idea of what might be causing a checksum error.. any ideas?

Ps: I'm using this discussion instead of an issue just in case I'm the problem and not the docker img itself

One of the mod file checksums was incorrect after several downloads. There's a good chance is a temporary network issue.

I was trying again today, I left it running and after a couple of hours I checked again and it looks like the "donwload" part was finished but now the server is failing to start because lots of mods are missing and/or have missing dependencies, it tries to run the modpack's run.sh script but fails to initialize... I'm starting from scratch all over again just to be sure and I've set the variables for CF_FORCE_SYNCHRONIZE and CF_FILE_ID this time.

io.netty.handler.timeout.ReadTimeoutException: null seems to be the new error I'm getting now... Every time the container restarts it's able to download a couple more mods and then I get a timeout, I'm considering trying to download the modpack manually and with that I have a question, I saw that its possible to manually put mods/modpacks inside of the /downloads folder but I'm not sure if I should use the modpack's Server Pack or not, since it comes with all the files needed alongside a start & run script and I'm not sure if I need to extract the files inside of the /downloads/modpacks folder or if just dropping the zip there will work.

Can you give me a hint on what I should do? I'll try it by myself later today but at least knowing the correct steps helps alot!

Yes using https://docker-minecraft-server.readthedocs.io/en/latest/types-and-platforms/mod-platforms/auto-curseforge/#manual-downloads would be good to try next.

If the server pack has as the files then that would be easiest to grab the files from.

I downloaded the server pack, created a /downloads folder and put the server pack there, now I have the following project structure:

./
↳ /downloads
   ↳ ServerFiles-4.5.zip
↳ docker-compose.yml

Inside docker-compose.yml I have:

volumes:
    - './minecraft-data:/data'
    - './downloads:/downloads'

Running docker compose up -d works OK, but then I looked at the container logs and its still trying to download stuff
