Jenkins not showing update. Stuck on 2.562

For some reason, our jenkins instance is not showing the "update available" in the system menu,
We are stuck on 2.562

I know we could manually update, but curious if there was a known issue for why 2.562 won't detect / show newer updates?

we are on weekly updates

master node + all workers are Java 25

I'm not aware of any reason that 2.562 would not show updates to newer versions on Windows. My 2.561 installation on Windows shows this:

i wonder if there is a specific issue in 2.562 only that doesnt show newer?
Ive tried different browsers etc.
I just see no information dialogs under Manage Jenkins at all.

I suspect that there is something local in your environment that prevents you from seeing newer versions. Some questions that might help you identify the local issue:

• What is your setting for the Jenkins update center string in "Manage Jenkins" / "Plugins" / "Advanced Settings"? The documentation says the default is https://updates.jenkins.io/update-center.json
• What do you see from your web browser when you open the URLs:
  • https://updates.jenkins.io/
  • https://updates.jenkins.io/download/war/
  • https://get.jenkins.io/
  • https://get.jenkins.io/windows/
  • https://get.jenkins.io/windows/2.565/
• Is there a web proxy between you and the public internet?

I also see updates for plugins which I suspect uses the same file.

All those urls open fine.
There is Zscalar I believe as its corp network but it hasnt been a problem before and as above - plugin updates are showing

Maybe the notification was dismessed? seems odd there is no way to get it back / view the update somewhere else though?

If the administrative monitor was dismissed by someone else, you may be able to re-enable it from "Manage Jenkins" / "System" under the "Administrative monitors" button.

Oh look at that:

Im our jenkins guy and dont recall touching that at all - odd
Someone also disabled the deprecated jenkins monitor too

Is there any audio to view who made changes to the config?

Oh, I tested and if you "dismiss" the warning / notifications - that disables the monitor
