Is there a way to show the diff for a specific git sha

I would love to be able to view the diff of a specific git sha like i can with git show {some_sha} more easily inside lazygit. When i go to the commit there is no easy way as far as i can tell to just navigate to a specific sha and view that diff

There isn't a way for a global search, but you can search the current branch in the Commits panel with /, does that help?

Not quite because my usecase is I work in a larger project and hoping to dig up a commit that could have been months old and want to view it

If that commit is on main, then the / way of searching for the sha works. You just have to wait a bit after pressing / for it to load all commits; if the repo is very large, this can take a while and consume a lot of memory.

If the commit is not on main, you're out of luck I'm afraid. I personally use gitk for such cases. I agree it would be useful to have such a feature in lazygit, but there are many questions around how to do that (both UX-wise and technically).
