What happened?

Description:

Using meet.jit.si on Chromium Version 150.0.7871.186 (Official Build) for Linux Mint (64-bit) with two participants, I'm the moderator, the other person shares their screen. My screen regularly goes dark with the message that it's saving bandwidth!

Steps to reproduce:

Join a meeting via the web
The other person shares their screen
Wait and see

Expected behavior:

See the screensharing!

It's happening every week for the last four weeks! You closed this issue a couple of years ago. Apparently any fix didn't stick!

I am looking into resolving Issue #17702. I suspect it's related to screenshare track constraints during P2P/JVB renegotiations, or the Wayland/PipeWire frame drop bug. I'll be debugging this locally. Any advice from Jitsi maintainers on where the BWE constraints are managed for desktop tracks?
