I haven't seen this before, but when it also happens with the onecta app it seems to be a generic problem, not specific to this HA setup. Have you checked the wifi signal strength and whether the device is reported as connected always, maybe it has a weak internet connection? |

Hello everyone.
I have been operating a Daikin air conditioner since the day before yesterday.
Immediately after commissioning, I performed the firmware update.
Are you also experiencing the following issue:
When I change something on the air conditioner using the remote control, I don't see any of these changes in the Onecta app or in Home Assistant. Nothing gets updated. However, when I adjust the temperature, turn on the air conditioner, etc., in the Onecta app or in Home Assistant, these actions are carried out.
But then the display in the app and in Home Assistant reverts back. For example: I turn off the air conditioner via the app. It then turns off. But when I refresh the app screen by pulling down, it shows as on again. In reality, it's off. The same phenomenon occurs in Home Assistant.
So I can set everything via app and Home Assistant, but I never see the current state of the air conditioner in either of them.
The very friendly Daikin support suggests the following: "Currently, we can only assume that the phenomenon is related to the API. My request would be: please deactivate it once and wait 24 hours. After that, please check if the communication of the ONECTA app improves. Please give me feedback on this so that we can pass it on to our colleagues if necessary."
