Should be a separate module IMO. You don't need all this color stuff and you'd want to pipe to arbitrary streams

PRETTY COLORS haha. the time part can be useful in dev, date not so much, but if it's in a nice yy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss format it wouldn't bother me

yeah i agree that time would be useful. i just don't want to have a billion options like we had with connect's logger.

i think the best route to go is to either separate the actual logs and their display (different repos or just different methods) or have this be an emitter, emit specific events, then have logging middleware just log these events. i don't want want to encourage people to actually listen to these events for logic though

yea in general I agree having separate modules for specific cases is way better, I'm down for that too, easy copy/paste

opts is param of dev function but not use it?it seems code not finished.need add opts like date IP etc to console log.
