Is it possible to override the aws endpoint uri for efs?

I need to override the aws endpoint to efs (not just the region) ...meaning, it can't go to "efs.region.amazonaws.com".... I can't find anywhere that supports overriding this. Is it possible?

I think line 40 here is the problem: https://github.com/kubernetes-sigs/aws-efs-csi-driver/blob/master/charts/aws-efs-csi-driver/templates/node-daemonset.yaml ... it's hardcoding "amazonaws.com" ...
