We have a date field in the markdown header/frontmatter for every post.

---
layout: post
title: Week Ending November 3, 2024
date: 2024-11-03 22:00:00 -0000
slug: 2024-11-03-update
---

Currently the date is updated manually before publishing. The date value cannot be in the future, else it won't show up in the website. Having a wrong date would also mess up RSS feeds. The date should be set to whatever time we are publishing the newsletter/merge the PR to main. We can possibly automate this with a git hook that fires after every commit or before we merge the PR in GitHub.

The Kubernetes project currently lacks enough contributors to adequately respond to all issues.

This bot triages un-triaged issues according to the following rules:

  • After 90d of inactivity, lifecycle/stale is applied
  • After 30d of inactivity since lifecycle/stale was applied, lifecycle/rotten is applied
  • After 30d of inactivity since lifecycle/rotten was applied, the issue is closed

You can:

  • Mark this issue as fresh with /remove-lifecycle stale
  • Close this issue with /close
  • Offer to help out with Issue Triage

Please send feedback to sig-contributor-experience at kubernetes/community.
