Manual resource polling

I think it would be great if Nova included a feature to manually trigger polling for a specific resource.

Right now, I have a resource which includes jobs that have failed or are successful, these jobs can be dispatched via a Nova action and the status will change to "pending". Whenever this job is ready and the status has changed, I would like to force the UI to be refreshed (instead of every n seconds like we can right now).
