Summary

I would love to have the ability to hide or show specific game modes on the rating graph displayed on my profile. Since I typically focus on one or two time controls (e.g., Blitz and Bullet) for extended periods, playing a different game mode once/occasionally results in a scattered data point/long horizontal line that disrupts the graph’s continuity. This can be visually unappealing, especially if I don’t plan to play that mode regularly.

Proposed Solution

A setting that allows users to customize which game modes are displayed on their rating graph. Ideally, Lichess would remember this preference. Possible implementation options:

  • Allow users to hide certain game modes from their graph (visible only to themselves).
  • Provide an option to hide certain game modes from the graph for all visitors.
  • Implement a setting that hides the same game mode across all users' graphs (for the individual user).

This feature would help users keep their graphs clean and relevant to their preferred game modes while maintaining flexibility for those who want a comprehensive view.

Thanks for considering this suggestion!
