I am using Scala-Logging 3.9.5 in a production application:

com.typesafe.scala-logging:scala-logging_2.12:3.9.5

The latest version (3.9.5) was released in May 2022.

Are there plans to make another release soon? cc: @SethTisue

@SethTisue I don't plan to do a release myself (my involvement in this repo is minimal), but I'm available to help if the other maintainers get stuck on something

I'm also available to help anoint new volunteer maintainers.

In fact, I am not sure if a version should be released for it (when there are no feature updates). If necessary, can it be released once or twice a year?

with sbt-ci-release, releasing is so easy that it's easy to default to just doing it

@sullis is there a particular change or changes you were interested in seeing ship...?

Hi,

Is the release with slf4j2 support planned?

Is it only necessary to have do a release?

Yes for me, but I'm not sure about other users. Maybe there was something important merged as well since the last release.
