If I am not wrong then Cuttlefish uses either QEMU or CrosVM as a VMM and it itself manages the lifecycle, networking etc of the Android guest VMs like how Lima works? So do we want to have Cuttlefish as a new backend VM driver on Linux hosts? or only use Cuttlefish for disk image preparation and run it using QEMU?

I'm unsure which one offers better performance: using Cuttlefish to run an Android VM inside a Linux VM, or running an Android image directly using QEMU.

Running cuttlefish/goalfish sounds like out-of-scope for the Lima project, it is hard to see the templates or use cases

e.g. cloud-init? containers?
