Check history messages

Hi,
Is there any way I can read all the messages received in last hour?
I don't want to poll forever. I just want to check if I received any messages in last hour and respond to them using code. Basically I don't want to rely on messageReceived event.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

On my understand to the code, It's not possible to check for unchecked messages without the messageReceived Event. But you can do that with the messageReceived Event without problems (may be use timer?).
