I actually never had this issue, but with this newest 2.4.0 I just got this today!

@claudiux: Are you entirely sure, that the calculation is now correct? I add a screenshot with the values from the multicore-sys-monitor and btop:

It is obviously more broken than before.
There are so many changes and bugs to this applet recently. This is the worst recent bug yet. The whole memory module is unusable.
If this gets fixed hopefully in the near future, I will probably disable automatic updates for this.
There is also this new empty margin on the left side since the recent update wave. I see it on your scrnshot as well.
PS: Thank you for working on it in your free time, I do respect your time. But damn... I would be slower in updates and test better in the future. There is also this suddenly new square view that doesn't work. It's better to polish the old features than get new broken ones.

I have downgraded to the version 2.3.4, that is the last one which works fine for me.

Go to https://github.com/linuxmint/cinnamon-spices-applets/tree/5000ff47c617148578ae9e015398f769b38dacc7 and click on Code and Download ZIP. From the downloaded ZIP extract multicore-sys-monitor@ccadeptic23/files/multicore-sys-monitor@ccadeptic23 and put this directory into ~/.local/share/cinnamon/applets after you remove the same directory there.
