I can no longer make new snapshots after upgrading from Mint 22.0 to 22.3 (rsync related?) #519

Describe the bug
I updated Linux Mint a few days ago, first from 21.2-21.3, then from 21.3 to 22.0, then to 22.0 to 22.3. I was able to produce snapshots just fine in 22.0 and prior, but now that I'm on 22.3, it seems to halt VERY quickly at a certain point, ("getting stuck at syncing files with rsync") and won't continue until I quit. It's doing it, even after I updated it after a long time. It doesn't give any error messages, other than the one that appears when I quit it. I'll attach the logs, which has a clear gap that shows when it stops working. Look for the timestamp 03:23:01, and the processes above it.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Launch Timeshift
  2. Click "Create Snapshot"
  3. Watch literally nothing happen, getting stuck at the "syncing files with rsync" and be forced to quit

Expected behavior
The progress actually fills up and creates my snapshot, as it did in the prior versions

System:

  • Linux Distribution Name and Version: Mint 22.3
  • Desktop: Cinnamon 64-bit (6.6.7)
  • Timeshift Version: 25.12.4
  • Timeshift Mode: RSYNC
  • Display Server: X11
