Pasting text in version 0.56.2 crashes Chronicler #73

Description

@sagittarius255

What happened?
I tried pasting text into a Chronicler document and the Chronicler program crashes. When I restart Chronicler, the text is not pasted in the document. The error log produced when Chronicler crashed is attached in the following document: chronicler bug.rtf

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open up any document or create a new document.
  2. Copy text from anywhere and then paste it into the document, by typing in command-V from the keyboard or by right clicking on the document and selecting the Paste option on the menu that appears.
  3. The Chronicler program crashes.
  4. Open Chronicler again, and open the document where you tried pasting the text. The text is not there.

Expected behavior
I expected the copied text to be pasted into the document.

Environment

  • Chronicler version: 0.56.2
  • OS and version: macOS 12.7.6
  • Install method: Updated to version 0.56.2 from version 0.55.0 through a popup window that appeared in the Chronicler program. The original Chronicler version 0.55.0 was installed via a .dmg image downloaded from the main Chronicler website.
