Text not displaying

Description of the bug:
When adding text symbols to the map, everything goes blank.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. When I'm on https://maplibre.org/maputnik, I tried adding a places layer
2. Then I enter {name} into the Field input
3. When I do this, the map goes blank. In the console

I see the following error in the console:

Can you please provide the full steps to reproduce?
Adding a symbol layer without adding any source will yield a different error message than the one you described, so I'm guessing there are more configuration needed in order to reproduce the issue you are describing...

1. add OpenMapTilesV3 as a data source
2. Add layer
3. type = symbol, source = openmaptiles, source layer = places
4. click add layer
5. click on the new layer
6. type {name} into the Field input box
7. I expected to see the country names
8. Instead I see nothing in the map window. I did not expect to see the following console error:

Have you tried using a font that exists in the glyphs folder you are using?

Open%20Sans%20Regular,Arial%20Unicode%20MS%20Regular which is the default font is not there...

This is the hard coded URL being used by default. So I thought I'd file this as a bug since this doesn't work anymore. Would it make sense to update the url in the code to:

https://fonts.openmaptiles.org/{fontstack}/{range}.pbf

I'm not sure all the fonts there have a permissive license, so I'm not sure this is a viable possibility, unfortunately...

OK, well it might be good to update the youtube video, or put a notice on the demo site since following the instructions to add country labels currently doesn't work.

I'd be happy to contribute, since it looks like you are a collaborator would you like to provide some feedback on the last options I gave? You already mentioned my first option (changing to fonts.openmaptiles.org url) will not work because of licensing issues. Should I make a pull request to create a message notifying users that the default values and instruction don't work anymore? Since I cannot edit the youtube video I suppose that will not be an option.

You are welcome to create a new YouTube video, msputnik changed a bit since the original video.
I don't think you can edit a wiki, but it can be removed if it doesn't have a lot of value and the readme can be updated, or another readme can be added if need be.
What ever you think might help others after you.
