Summary

Some users remove some siteIDs as they no longer manage the sites, but the tracking code remains on the website, causing them to receive tracking failure emails for site IDs that no longer exist. This can be confusing.

Matomo should provide a way to exclude tracking failure notifications for sites that no longer exist. Ideally, implementing an exclusion list would be the best approach, allowing users to choose whether they want to continue receiving tracking failure alerts or disable them for specific siteIDs.
