Menu or activity button? #1168

Description
Anyway to add a menu or activity button that gives us access to all the functions of this addon?
I am having issue finding info on adding buttons. I would take a shoot at it if anyone could link me the info need.
I am thinking an Arduino icon, then tree view that lets you view sketches, library, serial monitor / settings, board info for changing settings, etc
Just something that makes it more user friendly for new people coming from the Arduino IDE.
