Version information is being overwritten

The native locator finds homebrew along with the version

• However there Python extension is blowing the version in getResolvedEnv

Screenshot shows version provided by locator being replaced with -1, -1, -1

Is this problem still occurring? I know a lot of changes have been made since this time
