The following files in this repository contain code derived from or closely
adapted from the original DualPipe project:

  pithtrain/dualpipe/dualpipev.py
    - The DualPipeV class (scheduling algorithm, P2P communication methods,
      and state management) is derived from dualpipe/dualpipev.py in the
      original repository. The overlapped_forward_backward() function and
      FSDP/FP8 integration are original additions.

  pithtrain/dualpipe/comm.py
    - P2P communication helpers (set_p2p_tensor_shapes, set_p2p_tensor_dtype,
      append_irecv, append_isend) are derived from dualpipe/comm.py in the
      original repository.

  pithtrain/dualpipe/utils.py
    - WeightGradStore, run_backward, chunk_tensor, cat_tensor, scatter, and
      gather are derived from dualpipe/utils.py in the original repository.
      FP8WeightCacheControl and diagnostic utilities are original additions.
