Project Status #133

Hello there! Thank you for reaching out. The current status of this project is that the open-source team at G-Research has started porting the tracking server to Go. So far, the official MLflow team hasn't been deeply involved at the code level. We've ported most endpoints that we found useful for ourselves and are currently focused on finding other users and contributors. The main idea is that this project needs adoption before it can be integrated into the main MLflow project. If there is community consensus that this project is valuable, I'm sure the MLflow team would be interested in adopting it. However, since they are not Go developers themselves, they would need to see this interest first. To spread the word, we wrote a blog post article for the MLflow website and created a short YouTube video. In other words, we want this to succeed but need help with adoption first. Let me know if you have any more questions—I'm happy to answer them! |

Hello,
I would like to check on the current status of this project. Additionally, I was wondering if there are any plans to replace it with MLflow’s Python-based implementation in the future.
Furthermore, could you clarify whether this project is managed by the official MLflow team or by community members?
Thank you for your time and assistance.
