New Features

Performance, Security, and Usability Improvements

• [Link.js] Performance and security have been enhanced, and the code has been optimized for better readability.
• Improved error messages provide clearer information about ongoing processes.
• The loading time has been removed; when you click "Yes, Continue," you will be redirected to the website immediately without waiting.

Enhanced Domain Safety

• (NEW) [Link.json] A new file loaded by Link.js when you click a link, which contains all verified and safe domains you can visit. This feature increases security for users.
• A new "Remember Domain" button has been added. If the domain is listed in Link.json as safe, clicking this button saves the domain in local storage, allowing you to bypass confirmation for that specific website. More websites will be added in future updates.

Streamlined User Experience

• [Popup.js] The Bottom Sheet and all its functionalities have been removed. You will be redirected immediately to the details page when clicking the "Details" button.
• You can now rename extensions, and NG Extension Manager recognizes the largest icon for better resolution, resizing it appropriately.
• Extensions can now be sorted in a specified order. The search functionality has also been improved and made more secure.

Performance Optimizations

• Document Fragments: Using DocumentFragment improves performance by minimizing reflows during rendering.
• Debounced Search: The search functionality includes a debounce mechanism to enhance performance during rapid input.

User Experience Enhancements

• Smooth Animations: CSS transitions and animations have been added for a more polished look.
• Responsive Design: The layout adapts to different screen sizes, ensuring usability across various devices.

Analysis and Improvements

• [Details.html] Optimizations in Link.js have resulted in significantly faster loading times, with an LCP score of around 26ms (previously over 55-117ms).
• The Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) has been improved from more than 0.10 seconds to between 0.10-0.06 seconds or less.
• Interaction times (INP) are now reduced to approximately 16ms-24ms.
• Memory usage has been optimized from over 100MB to a range of 22MB-85MB.

Security Considerations

• Input Sanitization: Implemented sanitizeHTML to prevent XSS attacks. Ensure all dynamic content is sanitized.
• External Links: All external links now open in new tabs to prevent navigating away from the extension manager.
