MCP in SSE mode has a new specification
modelcontextprotocol/modelcontextprotocol#206

Describe the solution you'd like
I imagine some support is needed on client side. It would be nice to have it implemented on the inspector as well.

This can be done once modelcontextprotocol/typescript-sdk#220 is in place I guess.

HTTP streaming transport is merged and released in the upstream modelcontextprotocol/typescript-sdk.

repo mentioned above is the SDK repo (informative). We are still waiting on implementation from inspector maintainers.

Update: this was implemented in a couple of recent PRs, the latest one to resolve some issues was merged last week and a release should get created and published next week.
