UI/UX: Design for UIN Deletion in Collab Env #839

Description

@Varaniya201

Description

Design the user interface and user experience to enable users to permanently delete their identity data (UIN) from the MOSIP Collab environment. The design should provide a simple, guided, and transparent deletion journey while clearly communicating the progress and outcome of the operation.

User Flow

  1. Display a "Delete My Data" call-to-action (CTA) button on the MOSIP Collab landing page.
  2. When the user clicks the CTA, redirect them to the eSignet authentication page.
  3. The user authenticates using their UIN, VID, or Handle along with OTP authentication.
  4. Upon successful authentication, initiate the data deletion process and navigate the user to a Deletion Status page.
  5. The status page should display the progress of each deletion stage in the following order:
    • Registration Data Deletion
    • ID Repository Data Deletion
    • Resident Portal Data Deletion
    • Self Registration Data Deletion
    • IDA Deletion
  6. Once all stages are completed successfully, display the success message: "Your data has been deleted from the MOSIP Collab environment. This UIN can no longer be used."

Retry Experience

  • If the deletion process is interrupted or any stage fails, is skipped, or is only partially completed, the status page should provide a Retry option to allow the user to resume the deletion process.
  • If the user attempts to retry after the configured retry window has expired:
    • Display the following message: "The retry window has expired. Please click Delete My Data again and complete the authentication process to continue with the deletion."
    • Redirect the user back to the MOSIP Collab landing page so they can restart the deletion process by authenticating again.
