Staging forgets registered accounts

For the second time in a week the staging service appears to have forgotten our test account, causing our automated tests to fail. To solve this I had to sign up again to register our account. Is the database periodically refreshed? Should we be creating accounts via persona test user?

I was testing database changes, and it required recreating the database server a few times. sorry for the inconvenience. I don't expect this to be happening again any time soon.
