Some IoT devices constantly flip online/offline

For example, Aqara Hub M2. I have polling interval set at 15 mins, and frequently I receive status change with every poll.
I checked both main router and wifi access point and both do not report any connection changes. Signal is strong and stable, dhcp is not renewed.
Any ideas what can this be?
I am on NA 26.2.6

From the experience, ARP + nmap & avahi + dig + icmp - not too much stress for network?

Nmap takes a lot, would only scan once a day or so. Otherwise I think it's ok
