Does Wi-Fi work without needing the Zwift Companion app? #226

I’m considering buying a trainer with Wi-Fi connectivity. As far as I know, Wine supports network connections, but I’m unsure about Docker (especially that I'm using an immutable distro). So my question is: Has anyone managed to connect their trainer via Wi-Fi without using the Zwift Companion app? |

I can't answer to the last question, but what I can say is that I don't see any technical reasons why this shouldn't work. One thing to note is that you probably require host networking on the docker container so setting |

I've been using the wahoo kickr v6 with zwift connected via WiFi for over a year now, I found it more stable than connecting via the companion app. Just make sure you use host networking when running zwift as @netbrain mentioned
