It would be neat if our DeviceType autocreation could somehow leverage https://github.com/netbox-community/devicetype-library to more intelligently populate NetBox with device information.

As someone who takes care in maintaining said devicetype-library repo, I am not convinced all device-type definitions are to a standard quality. Furthermore, just because the device-type definition shows a device as coming with x specifications (ports, power supplies, etc.) does not mean that the device you are onboardinging as the exact same specification. An example would be a device with modules that do not come populated in the default build.

BUT, it would be useful to at least get the u_height and is_full_depth for now.
