iOS 26 - call notifications inconsistent and when will selfie camera mirror be fixed?

Using iOS 26.0.1 and Nextcloud Talk 22.0.4 for iOS

Several users are reporting that sometimes they do not receive notifications for incoming calls. Sometimes only the ringer and sometimes nothing. Seems to been more reported after iOS 26

Also, the selfie camera does not show the mirror image as does Facetime, Telegram or Whatsapp. All users complain about this constantly. I saw earlier reports about this. When can it be fixed?

We are currently not aware of any problems with call push notifications, even on iOS 26. Could you provide steps to reproduce the problem?

This will be fixed in this PR #2261 and will most likely be included in the next release.

In a particular test case - two users in different geographical locations. Both users have good Internet connection One user makes a call via Nextcloud Talk to the other user. Both users have the app open in the background. All notifications are set properly in iOS. Sometimes the receiving user will receive a notification of the call and sometimes they won't - no distinct pattern.

Also have had some users not receiving notification on Apple Watch of an incoming call – Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Series 11

Thanks for the update about the selfie camera. This is one of the main consistent complaints from all our users about Nextcloud Talk.
