Third parties took over andengine.org ?

After stumbling upon AndEngine I tried to check the project website listed in the project page, http://www.andengine.org/, but instead of going to a page dedicated to AndEngine the link opens a shady page dedicated to Canlı Casino Siteleri. It seems like the andengine.org domain was hijacked/taken over and used to serve content that has no relationship with the project.

Could any of the project maintainers take a look to check what's happening with the domain name?

AndEngine is a long dead project. I would recommend you looking into other game engines out there like Godot or miniGDX, unity, etc.

@andreiverdes even if the project is long dead, it's project page is still pointing to a hijacked domain which can and does steer unsuspecting users to a potentially malicious site. The very minimum that needs to be done to protect the public is remove the link from the project page.

you can see it was in 2013 , they turns to desktop games now and lots of people still懷念
