Download a Kobo preview (free, DRM free) to Mac
Purchase and download full book (with DRM) to Mac

Book still shows in Obok as ulocked, Obok does not remove DRM

Resolution

Delete all local Kobo assets in ~/Library/Application Support/Kobo/Kobo Desktop Edition
Close Calibre and Kobo Desktop
Re-open, log in

Book shows as in Obok as unlocked and DRM can be removed
