It would be nice to have the map change to show heatmaps of high- or low-prevalence self-reported race categories or income categories from census data (in the first link) when selections are made in the range.
I finally got several Observable Frameworks dashboards working, and have a slightly better understanding of this amazing library. Hopefully this is feasible, and if not happy to learn what it takes and give it a shot to extend the library to support this use case 🙏

Are there any good examples of linking external libraries (like Protomaps: https://bdon.github.io/observable-framework-maps/example-map) to Observable dashboards that use the Plot library?
For example, here are two framework dashboards:
