Video Script — "How I Got 10,000 Leads From Google Maps For $0"

Target length: ~4–5 min · SAY = spoken word-for-word · SHOW = on screen

Title options (for CTR):

  1. I Scraped 10,000 Leads From Google Maps For $0 (Live)
  2. Get 100,000 Free Leads From Google Maps (No Coding)
  3. Lead Sellers Charge $400 For This. I'll Do It Free.

1. COLD OPEN — Proof first (0:00–0:15)

SAY: This is a list of ten thousand restaurants in New York City. Name, phone number, website, rating, address — everything. It took 20 minutes to build, and it cost me zero dollars.

SHOW: Fast scroll through the finished spreadsheet. Zoom on row counter: 10,047.

SAY: Companies like Apify charge around $400 for a list this size. Today you'll build it yourself for free — and stay till the end, because I'll also show you how to get an email address for every single lead. Also free.

SHOW: Apify pricing page → big red ❌ → text: $400 → $0

🎯 Retention: result shown before anything else. No "hey guys, welcome back". The email promise is the open loop that holds people to the end.

2. THE TOOL — 8 seconds of credibility (0:15–0:30)

SAY: I'm using my Google Maps Extractor app. It's free, it has 2,800 stars, and it's rated Excellent on Trustpilot. The whole process is three steps — watch.

SHOW: Quick cuts, 1–2s each: app page → star count → Trustpilot "Excellent" widget.

🎯 Say "rated Excellent on Trustpilot" — don't say "by 21 users" out loud, just show the widget. Don't linger here; credibility over 10 seconds feels like an ad.

3. LIVE DEMO — Setup (0:30–1:05)

SAY: Step one — install it. Link in the description.

SAY: Step two — type what you want and where. I'm typing Restaurants in New York City. You could type gyms in London, dentists in Dallas, yoga studios in Mumbai — anything that's on Google Maps, you can have as a lead list.

SAY: Step three — hit Search. That's it. That's the entire skill.

SHOW: Typing → click Search → first results start streaming in live.

🎯 Show rows appearing within seconds — motion on screen right after the click.

4. THE WAIT — Never show a loading bar (1:05–1:50)

SAY: Ten thousand leads takes about 20 minutes. While it runs, let me show you the feature that actually makes you money — filters.

SAY: Doing cold calls? Filter to businesses with phone numbers. Selling websites? Filter to businesses without a website — every single one of those is a client waiting to happen. Want serious buyers? Minimum 4 stars, 50-plus reviews. You sort and filter until the list is exactly your customer.

SHOW: Filter panel demo on an existing list — toggle "has phone", "no website", ratings slider.

🎯 This fills dead time with the strongest selling point. Filters = "this tool thinks like a salesperson", which is what converts viewers into users.

5. PAYOFF (1:50–2:30)

SAY: Twenty minutes later — done. Ten thousand and twenty-four restaurants.

SHOW: [ANIM: clock spin] → results table → zoom the count.

SAY: Phone numbers, websites, addresses, ratings, review counts. Look at this.

SHOW: Slow scroll across columns — let the data breathe for a few seconds.

SAY: One click — Export as CSV — and it opens in Excel or Google Sheets. This list is ready for cold calls today.

SHOW: Click Export → CSV opens in Sheets.

6. PRICING — After they've seen the value (2:30–3:15)

SAY: So what does this cost? This is the part nobody believes.

SAY: The free plan gives you 200 searches. One search just got me ten thousand leads. Do the math — that's room for over one hundred thousand leads, on the free plan. Apify charges four hundred dollars for that. Here, it's free.

SHOW: Text overlays stacking: 200 free searches1 search = 10K leads100K+ leads freeApify: $400 ❌

SAY: So honestly — most of you should never pay me. For 99% of people, the free plan is all you'll ever need.

🎯 "You should never pay me" is the biggest trust spike in the video. Keep it word-for-word.

SAY: If you're an agency and you actually burn through 200 searches — sixteen dollars gets you five thousand searches, forty-eight gets you unlimited. That's the whole pricing page.

SAY (quick, one breath): Oh — and if you're a college student, Pro is completely free for you. I'll show you how in the next video.

SHOW: $16 → 5,000 searches / $48 → Unlimited · then 🎓 Students: Pro FREE card.

7. THE PROMISED PAYOFF — Emails (3:15–3:45)

SAY: Now, the thing I promised you. Cold email needs emails — and Google Maps doesn't show them. So use the built-in enrichment: it takes your list, and finds the emails. Free.

SHOW: (screen flash) Run enrichment → email column filling in, row by row.

🎯 This closes the loop from the hook. People who skipped ahead land here — make this moment visually satisfying.

8. END — Bridge, don't beg (3:45–4:05)

SAY: You now know how to pull more leads in 20 minutes than most agencies buy in a year. In the next video, I show the exact search strategy — how to pick keywords, stack filters, and export a clean, ready-to-sell list. Ten minutes, and you'll squeeze every last lead out of this tool. It's on your screen right now.

SHOW: End screen with next-video card. Point at it. Hard cut — no outro music fade.

🎯 No "like and subscribe" speech — it kills retention at the end and the algorithm reads that drop. Send them to the next video instead; session time beats a like.

Retention rules this script follows

  1. Proof before promise — the finished list is frame one.
  2. Price anchor early ($400) so "free" has weight all video.
  3. Open loop in the hook (free emails) — resolved only at 3:15.
  4. Never show real-time waiting — the 20-min gap is filled with filters (value + soft pitch).
  5. Pricing only after the payoff — they've already seen 10K leads, so $0 feels unbelievable and $16/$48 feel trivial.
  6. Trust spike — "most of you should never pay me."
  7. End bridges to the next video — no outro, no begging.
