There are some cases where a register change has a hardware effect, e.g.: stimulation triggers, filter changes, etc...
Having a feedback of when these changes were effective, so these events could be timestamped and saved

We need to discuss possible mechanisms to do this, but it would be a good addition to spec 2.0
