Facilitate use with ProbeInterface #16
Description
I think we could contribute device_channel_indices to ProbeInterface for our headstages, EIBs and adapters so that it is easier to link probes to them, but I'm not quite sure I understand how to specify the physical order.
Specifically, in this example, would the "first half of the channels" be referring to how they appear in the software, so it would be the same mapping we have provided in the docs?
Anyway, I think this is just testing it and seeing what the result is. Something to tackle at the end.
